Workpaths Head of Product Recognized as Finalist for Business Innovator Award

Published 2019-04-10

Baylee Mabe, Workpath’s Head of Product, will be recognized as a finalist tomorrow night at ChamberRVA’s HYPE Icons Awards at the Science Museum of Virginia. Baylee will join fourteen other young professionals who are emerging leaders and recognized in different categories. The awards, which are sponsored by the HYPE (Helping Young Professionals Engage) leadership program that is part of the chamber, are designed to honor young professionals from across the Richmond region for standing out as front-runners and change agents in their workplaces. Candidates are age 35 or younger and have made clear and direct impact on their companies, workplaces or co-workers.

The HYPE Icons awards are broken into individual and corporate sectors. Baylee is a finalist in the Business Innovator category, an award that is given to one young professional each year for being imaginative in his or her approach to identifying new avenues of thought and action.  The award spotlights innovators who regularly think beyond the limits of convention, challenge the status quo and aren’t afraid to start difficult conversations that address a need or opportunity. The award also recognizes those who embrace innovation and creativity as drivers to making positive changes for the betterment of their teams and their organizations.

“The ChamberRVA Annual ICONS Award Celebration is an exceptional evening for the RVA business community, with hundreds of people attending to congratulate young professionals and the companies that support young professionals. Quite literally, this event celebrates the future of our Region,” says Kim Scheeler, president & CEO of ChamberRVA.

Workpath congratulates Baylee as well as all of this year’s finalists for ChamberRVA’s HYPE Icons Awards.
